How to view the revision history of a booking?

The revision history in Siana allows you to track every modification made to a specific booking. This tool is essential for auditing changes, identifying who performed an action, and verifying which data has been updated over time.

What information is displayed in the history?

The page shows a detailed table with all events associated with a booking reference (payment code).
The information is organised into the following columns:

  • Date: Exact date and time when the event occurred (format DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS).

  • Event type: Indicates the action performed, displayed using colour labels for quick identification.

  • User: Email address of the user who performed the action.

  • Booking reference: Unique identifier (payment code) of the booking.

  • Appointment ID: Unique identifier (UUID) of the associated appointment, if applicable.

  • Changes: Details of the fields that were modified. If no changes were made, the text “No changes” will be displayed.

How to identify event types?

To improve visual clarity, events are categorised by colour:

  • Green (Creation): Used for “Booking created” or “Appointment created”.

  • Blue (Modification): Indicates that a booking or appointment has been updated.

  • Red (Deletion): Displayed when an appointment has been removed from the system.

  • Orange (Cancellation): Identifies cancelled bookings or appointments.

🔍 How it works: Revisions are displayed in descending order (most recent first). You can change the order by clicking on the header of any column.

Which fields are tracked in the changes?

When a modification is detected, Siana records changes in the following categories:

  • Booking data: Acceptance date, current price, author, buyer group, creation date, email, first name, surname, payment method, phone number, merchant comments, service names, status, total price and discount amount.

  • Appointment data: User ID, cancellation date, cancellation reason, appointment ID, employee names, appointment rate, customer comments, date, time, duration, quantity and check-in status..

How to access this page?
  1. Go to Records > Appointments.

  2. Locate and open the booking you want to review.

  3. Click the revision history link or button displayed in the information panel on the right.
