How to set up the schedule of a resource?

Normally, resources do not need to be configured with a specific schedule as they will always be available within the pre-established opening hours of the center. How to set-up the center schedule?

You only need to configure a schedule for a resource when you want to limit the booking options to specific days of the week or a reduced timeframe. The most common cases are:

  • An external resource which does not belong to the spa. It could be that the center uses a resource from the hotel or surrounding area that does not have the same schedule as the center. In this case, that resource must have a specific schedule set.
  • A resource that may be available outside the center's usual hours. For example, if the spa pool is open for a special Night Circuit service.
  • A resource that is blocked due to renovations. In this case, a blocked schedule must be applied for the dates when it cannot be booked.

How to configure a specific schedule?


1.  Indicate that the resource requires a specific schedule:

Go to the resource from Agenda > Resources > [select the resource] and check the Schedule required box:

⚠️ Please note that if you check this box, the resource will not show any availability until step 2 is completed.

2.  Load the schedule:

1) From the section Agenda > Schedule > Resource schedule, click on the red button in the bottom-right corner.

2) Select the desired resource. You can expand options by clicking on the three-line icon. If two or more resources share the same schedule, you can select them to make a single schedule upload.

3) Set the start and end dates for the period you want to load.

4) Choose the type of schedule you want to load. By default, you can load "Available" and "Blocked" shifts.

⚠️ Please note that only one concept can be loaded per day. This means you cannot load availability in the morning and block in the afternoon. In such cases, you should only load the available shift."


5) Set the time schedule for the resource within the specified period.
If the schedule is continuous, choose the "Start" and "End" times. If there are split shifts, you can use the +Shifts button. 

If you want to configure availability for the entire opening hours of the center, simply check the All day box.

6) Uncheck the days of the week in which the schedule will not apply.

7) You can use the +Period button to continue loading schedules for the same resource selection but on different date ranges, days of the week, or hours.

8) Always remember to SAVE the changes before exiting.


In this example, the resource Ind1 (1) will be available from 28.02 to 08.03(2), from 9h to 12h and 17h to 23h (4), every day except Saturdays and Sundays (5):

How to modify or remove a specific schedule?

To remove a specific schedule from a resource, go to Agenda > Schedule > Resource Schedule and follow these steps:

1) Click the red button in the bottom-right corner.

2) Select the resource in question, fill in the date range you need to remove, and check the All day box.

3) Click on Delete.

4) Finally, go to the resource from Agenda > Resources > [select the resource] and uncheck the Specific schedule box:

    If you only want to modify an existing availability period, you should keep the Specific schedule box checked and then add a new period that will overwrite the existing one. To avoid issues, we suggest first deleting the existing schedules and then adding the new ones.
