# ¿Cómo añadir pausas en la Agenda? (en)

From the **Agenda**, you can add breaks to temporarily limit the availability of employees or resources on a specific day.  
📌 **Note**: This process does not modify the regular schedules of the employee or resource. The break only affects availability on the selected day.

**1. Access the break option**

- Go to the **Agenda** and hover over the **“+”** button located in the lower-right corner.
- Select the **coffee cup** icon to create a new break.

**2. Configure the break**

- Select whether you want to apply the break to **Employees** or **Resources**.  
  📌**Note:** You can use the three-line icon to expand the full list and select multiple employees or resources at the same time.

- Enter the **start time**, **end time**, and an optional **reason** for the break.
- If needed, use **+ Shifts** to create split time slots (for example, morning and afternoon).
- Once saved, the break will be displayed in the Agenda as a striped time block.

#### 💬 **For example**: Employees Pablo and Patricia will be on break from 9:00 to 10:00 due to training, and from 12:30 to 13:00 for their lunch break.

##### How to edit or add more breaks for the same employee or resource?

To edit an existing break or add new time slots for the same employee or resource:

- Click directly on the break time block in the **Agenda**.

- A window will open where you can edit the break or add additional time slots.

⚠️ **Warning**: If you use the coffee cup icon again to create a break for the same employee or resource, the existing breaks will be overwritten.

##### Additional options

From the break edit window, you can use the following options:

- **Delete a break segment**  
  Click the trash icon to remove a specific time slot.

- **Reset**  
  Removes all current time slots so you can start from scratch.

- **Delete**
  
  Removes the entire break for the selected employee or resource.
